PERIT MARK CAMILLERI

Design Architect

Perit Mark Camilleri has graduated from the university of Malta in 2001 after following a course leading to a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Civil Engineering.  The following year he attained his warrant to practice as an architect and civil engineer.


He started his work experience with Perit Joe Camilleri (1994-1997 - Mosta) and later with Dr. Edwin Mintoff (1997-2003 - Valletta). During the said period he worked on different projects including GO centre (Balzan), CONTINENTAL CARS VW showroom (Gzira), TREASURY BUILDING (Cottonera), COTONERA WATERFRONT (Cottonera), CONNECTIONS project (Grand Harbour), BAY STREET (St. Julians), together with numerous other residential and commercial projects. Following this period, in 2004, he commenced work as a freelance architect and civil engineer. He was entrusted with several jobs including, LE MERIDIEN HOTEL (St. Julian's), PARK HOTEL (Sliema),  Traffic management plans - T-Ten (Luqa, Cirkewwa, Marsa), Flood water Relief Project (Marsa-Qormi - Tender awarded), Marsa Underpass etc., Commercial and office buildings,  DOMESTICA showroom (Msida), The Hedge office Development (San Giljan), GUTS.COM (Ta'Xbiex) Global college at Smart City (Malta) together with various Commercial projects.

Mark Camilleri also participated in numerous design and contractual tenders and came 2nd place in the design of the breakwater bridge - Grandharbour, 2nd place in Dock 1 project - Cottonera and 2nd place in Fort St. Elmo Restoration Project. He was awarded first place for the design of the TM offices, first place in the T ten EU roads network - Cirkewwa, together with first place for the design of the tensile structure over Tarxien Temples. In 2018 Perit Mark Camilleri was, together with the team at Blueprint Periti entrusted with the vertical extension of the Meridien Hotel and re branding into the Malta Marriott Hotel and Spa. 


The said commercial designs and management programs were carried out in parallel with the design and construction/ finishing of several residential developments consisting of apartment blocks, terraced houses and villas in several localities.  


Perit Mark Camilleri is an EPC (Energy Performance certificate) assessor, a court architect for the Courts of Malta and currently sits on the Rent Regulation Board.
